I find such claims dubious at best. The AI will create a snapshot of you at one point in time, but it’s not going to faithfully represent how you think and develop over time, where the growth is the basis for your personality.

I expect serious researchers to make more nuanced claims, and I expect them to be honest about the fact that some aspects of personality and human consciousness aren’t even understood on a biological level. For example, we don’t even have a way to fully capture the randomness of epigenetics on animal cognition and behavior, let alone that for humans.

What’s the usefulness of distilling science and research into inane marketing? Funding agencies and sources know their stuff, and aren’t reading these articles. So who is this article for, exactly? Student parents?
